![]() ![]() Of course i would complain to the central company to solve this rip off issue in that office. ![]() I noticed this rip-off when i delivered the card, so i complained with no good response of the manager, and had to go to back to terminal one to get money from the ATM to buy the dollars there to pay cash, with the risk tha it represents in a very dangerous city like Mexico City.įortunatly i arrived five hours prior my departure so i could went to get cash to pay this thieves in dollars to avoid being ripped off. So when you receive your charge at your credit card is dollars you will pay 25% more than the quantity they are supossed to charge. To make it easier: they rate in dollars, convert to pesos on a rip-off rate and charge your card in pesos at 25% more than bank rates. At the banks at airport USD was about 13.20 usd by peso and they put hidden and in small letters in the contract about a exchange rate of 16 usd by peso. ![]() The rip off comes on the exchange rate they apply. To give you an IDEA it was for a medium car about 50 dollars a day. Once there, the first issue was the insurance, they manage a very expensive insurance CDW (collision damage waiver)total and they denied to give me that information by phone, so i had to take a partial waiver in wich i took responsability for the 10% of total value of the car in case of accident and 20% in case of car robbery. I booked a car by internet with this Company on Internet because of their apparent good car rate rentals on the internet page įirst i should say i arrived to Terminal 2 and they lasted about an hour in picking us up to take us to the car rental facility outside the airport at Terminal one in a dark and lonely neighborhood.
